La Maddalena There are places that keep calling you back, no matter how many miles you’ve sailed or how many anchorages you’ve discovered. For us, those places are Sardegna and Corsica - two islands that never! lose their magic. The rocks glow in the early light, and for a little moment, the world feels like a miracle. Salt in the air, turquoise water everywhere, and the best company. These are the moments that remind us why we chose this life at sea. One of the greatest gifts of sailing isn’t just the destinations - it’s the people. As sailing bloggers, we love meeting members of our community wherever we go. Whether it’s a quick chat on the dock, sharing stories over dinner, or crossing paths in a beautiful anchorage, the sailing world has a way of making strangers feel like old friends. The spirit of the sailing community is something truly special, and we’re grateful for every connection we make along the way. We also had a wonderful Costa Smeralda moment this season. Between stunning scenery, elegant marinas, and crystal-clear bays, we spent time catching up with friends from Kitzbühel, enjoying beautiful restaurants, and celebrating a truly memorable birthday party. Good food, laughter, and great company - sometimes that’s all you need. Another highlight was participating in the CNB Regatta in Porto Rotondo. The event brought together an incredible fleet and an equally incredible group of sailors. We had a fantastic time both on and off the water, enjoying the friendly competition, the atmosphere, and the chance to reconnect with familiar faces while meeting new ones. Maremma……. Finalmente Arrival Marina di Scarlino Müde aber happy! Große Erleichterung direkt nach der Ankunft! Vier Monate lang war mein Zuhause ein schwankendes Segelboot, das sanft auf den Wellen tanzte, während ich in meiner Koje lag, eingehüllt in die ruhige Stille der Nacht. Es ist ein Gefühl, das schwer in Worte zu fassen ist, wenn man jeden Morgen aufwacht und eine neue Insel, eine unbekannte Bucht oder ein fremdes Land vor sich hat. Grazie Ambra …. home is where my anchor drops ! Ambra is back in Europe Die Ungewissheit und das Abenteuer lockten jeden Tag aufs Neue, und diese Zeit war für Torsten und mich eine der eindrucksvollsten Erfahrungen unseres Lebens. In good shape after crossing the Atlantic twice! Unsere große Atlantik-Runde war mehr als nur eine Segelreise – sie war eine Reise zu uns selbst. Weit weg von der Hektik des Alltags haben wir das Tempo oft verlangsamt, die einfachen Dinge wieder schätzen gelernt und uns von der Schönheit der Natur überwältigen lassen. Jeder Tag war anders und gerade diese Abwechslung hat uns unglaublich bereichert.  Nach vielen Tausend Seemeilen wieder zuhause in der Toskana! Well done my hero ♥️ Die Ankunft in der Toskana war ein emotionaler Moment. Nach Monaten auf See, in denen das Boot unser einziger Zufluchtsort war, war es fast überwältigend, im Heimathafen von Scarlino anzukommen. Passing Gibraltar: How to navigate the Orca Alley

  Preparing Ambra for our sailing adventure from the Azores back to the Mediterranean involved meticulous planning, especially considering the recent rise in orca whale attacks on sailing vessels. Our primary concern was ensuring the safety of our crew and vessel, so we decided to equip Ambra with the Whale-PAL, a cutting-edge deterrent device designed to protect against orca encounters.     Installation and Setup   The Whale-PAL is a torpedo-shaped device that emits a range of acoustic signals to deter orcas. We attached it to the stern of Ambra using a 10-meter steel line and an otter board (included when you buy the device) to maintain a depth of about 2 meters. This setup ensures that the device remains effective without being affected by the boat's speed or sea conditions.     Benefits and Effectiveness   The Whale-PAL significantly reduces the probability of orca damage from 11% to just 1.8%, an 85% reduction. It emits signals every four seconds, including random secondary sounds to prevent orcas from becoming accustomed to the noise. This increases the likelihood of safely navigating through orca-prone areas to 98.2%.     Practical Experience   During our voyage, the Whale-PAL provided a noticeable sense of security. The crew felt more at ease knowing that we had a scientifically-backed deterrent in place. This psychological benefit cannot be overstated, as a calm crew is better able to handle unexpected situations. We did not see any Orcas during our passage through Gibraltar. This could be of course luck or may be the PAL protected us. The Whale-PAL does not prevent dolphins from approaching, we saw in fact quite a lot of dolphins passing Gibraltar and they came very close to the boat. Atlantic Crossing from West to East: One Team – One Dream!

Andreas, Torsten, André and Ulli, one day after the storm! 3,000 nautical miles later, here they are! The America-Europe crossing from Miami to the Azores was an extraordinary challenge. The route was more complicated and the journey more difficult due to intense weather conditions. They faced a fierce storm, relentless rain, waves up to 5 meters, and powerful currents reaching 46 knots for extended periods. Arriving with no fuel in the tank and no wind on the island of Flores in the Azores was mind-blowing and nerve-wracking, both for the crew and the back-office team at home. This feat demanded immense courage, determination, and an unyielding passion for sailing. Well done, guys! We are incredibly proud of you. A peaceful oasis – Harbour Island and Windermere Island

We have explored nearly every cove of Harbour Island and larger Eleuthera , unoccupied when the first British settlers arrived in the 17th century. The Queens Bath (a collection of natural pools) on the latter is quite extraordinary. Private Island, Windermere Windermere Island, which is joined to Eleuthera by a bridge, is where we spent an awesome day on the beach. There are five miles of golden sand, peaceful lagoons and fiery sunsets. Over the decades, Windermere Island has retained its reputation of being home to those looking for privacy. Accessible only by a small guarded bridge that connects it to the mainland, and by invitation only. IT'S WHERE KING CHARLES, HONEYMOONED WITH PRINCESS DIANA - BUT WE HAD WINDERMERE PRIVATE ISLAND BEACH ALL to ourselves . HARBOUR ISLAND—a tiny sliver of land in the easternmost reaches of the Bahamas—is sometimes called the Nantucket of the Caribbean because of its concentration of billionaires, celebrities and colonial-era houses. Cocoa Dont miss Harbour Island, go to Sweet Spot Cafe, for exotic cocktails, such as an island daiquiri, made from coconut rum, mango pineapple and orange juice, or a Coral Heat, with vodka, grapefruit juice, black pepper, lime and sugar. Cocoa Coffee House makes the best cold-brew coffee and Queen Conch the best conch salad. No sailing adventure is complete without indulging in the local cuisine, so don't miss out on the best conch salad at Queen Conch, a true Bahamian delicacy rumored to be an aphrodisiac. Warderick Wells and Shroud Cay: Shades of turquoise!

The first significant island in the Exuma Cays Park is Shroud Cay, a curious 3-mile-long isle fringed by coral reefs with a heartland of mangroves and creeks. These areas offer really outstanding exploration by kayak, paddleboard or dinghy (if you're careful) through the mangrove creeks from the Exuma Bank side through to a gorgeous ocean beach on Exuma Sound. Trails from the beach to the top of the hill are clearly identifiable and you can climb to the top and take in a spectacular 360° view. This is a "must-see" if you enjoy pristine, spectacular, natural beauty and tranquility. Side Trip: Boo-Boo Hill Located on Warderick Wells, Boo-Boo Hill is the tallest hill on the cay and offers an amazing panoramic view of the Exumas as well as an unforgettable photo op. Atop Boo-Boo Cay is a lopsided monument created by bits of carved and painted driftwood left by cruisers to commemorate their visits. Legend has it that it's haunted by the unfortunate souls that have gone aground on the reef below. Some say you can hear them singing on moonlit nights (or it could just be the wind howling)...Nevertheless, the tradition is for cruisers to leave an offering atop Boo-Boo Hill to appease King Neptune and be blessed with good winds and smooth seas. Some come with pre-prepared signs or wood and paint, while others scrounge the beach for driftwood, seaweed, shells, coral and other treasures and make their offering on the spot. We haven't heard yet if it makes a difference what kind of offering you make but why not try it? It can't hurt.

Bahamas: It’s all ours to explore!

Bahamas: It's all ours to explore! Yesterday we arrived in Long Island Bahamas after a trip of more than 230 NM from Provo, Turks and Caicos. We left the Caicos Banks with just 1m under the keel –it was an adrenaline-pumping sail! Caicos Bank Think of the Caicos Bank as a 60-nm wide, circular, reef-fringed atoll. Water depths on the Bank run from around 6 meters/20 feet to 0 MLW. Proven transit routes carry about 2.4 meters/8 feet. Much of the Bank remains unsurveyed. Whatever the skill level, the prudent sailor will ensure that visual navigation is employed when transiting Turks and Caicos. This means daylight travel only and in sunlight and good weather facilitating bottom reading. The navigation aids are not always reliable and shifting sands and submerged rocks and reefs are just some of the hazards. Tide highs and lows are close to Nassau high and low tides. Sailing the azure waters from Turks and Caicos to Long Island, 🏝️Bahamas at 9/10 knots speed, wind 💨 20 knots , 26 hours fueled by delicious chicken, tomato, and greek cheese wraps crafted by our awesome friend Anette. St.Martin and Sint Maarten 5 years after Hurricane Irma

Pinel Island St. Martin is known for its half-French, half-Dutch culture, the Sint Maarten – Heineken-Regatta, and its picturesque beaches (with famous views of the planes approaching and leaving the Caribbean island). Anchorage Pinel Grand Case Beach 5 years after Irma and rebuilding is far from being completed. Hurricane Irma struck the island of Sint Maarten/Saint Martin on September 6th, 2017. Irma was a category 5 storm with strong winds that reached a peak intensity of 177 mph (285 km/h). Hurricane Irma had a devastating effect on the infrastructure of the island, entire marinas on the French side of Saint Martin were left in ruins due to boats colliding with each other as a result of the strong winds. Approximately 95% of the buildings in Sint Maarten/ Saint Martin were damaged and 60% of those buildings were totally uninhabitable. 5,5 years later and the destruction caused by Irma is still visible. Orient Bay: 5 years after Hurricane Irma and rebuilding is far from being completed. The destruction caused by Irma is still visible…. Don’t miss Pinel Island, a charming small island just a 5-10 minute boat ride from Orient Bay. Clear turquoise water and white sand beach. A slice of heaven! There are two restaurants on the island. We visited Karibuni. You can go for a hike, see iguanas, snorkel and stay the night ⚓️, sometimes some swell coming over the reef. Karibuni Right next to the runway of Saint Martin's airport, there’s Maho Beach. It is right under the flight path of the planes taking off and landing, so they fly extremely low here. When they take off, they expel jet blasts, which can literally blow you away. The Dutch side of St. Maarten generally sees more tourists, thanks to being home to the airport and the place where cruise ships dock. [...]

Der erste wirklich große Unterschied ist wohl die Zeit, die man für eine Reise investieren muss. Während ein Urlaub drei Wochen meist nicht überschreitet, segeln manche Globetrotter jahrelang durch die Welt. Intensives Reisen bringt Dich im Gegensatz zu einem erholsamen Urlaub an Deine Grenzen. Wer reist, sollte risikobereit sein. Zu einer langen Reise mit einem Segelschiff gehören auch schlechte Tage, Verzweiflung, Probleme und vielleicht sogar der ein oder andere kleine „Nervenzusammenbruch“ dazu, denn vor allem an diesen intensiven Gefühlen und den damit verbundenen Problemstellungen und deren Lösung kannst Du charakterlich wirklich wachsen. Da eine Reise eben keine „heile Traumwelt“ ist, sondern Dich ständig vor Probleme stellt und Dich dazu zwingt wichtige Dinge zu organisieren, gibt sie Dir ständig die Gelegenheit neue Fähigkeiten zu entwickeln und ein starkes Selbstbewusstsein zu erlangen. Dabei ist es vor allem die Unvorhersehbarkeit – wie sich die Reise entwickelt, welche Route Du genau einschlägst oder welche Herausforderungen der nächste Tag für Dich bereithält, die Deine Zeit auf Reisen zu etwas Besonderem macht an dem Du persönlich wachsen kannst. Wir erleben den Alltag in anderen Ländern und Kulturen hautnah und erleben die Dinge, die auch die Einheimischen täglich tun und können so ein Land sehr intensiv kennenlernen. Das spannende an unserer Reise ist für mich: • Wir lernen und sehen Dinge, von denen wir zuvor nie gehört haben. • Wir verlassen jeden Tag die Komfortzone und machen Dinge, die wir uns vor einem Jahr nie zugetraut hätten. Wir haben in den letzten Monaten ein Erdbeben, ein Seebeben, 2 Vulkanausbrüche und mehrere Stürme erlebt. Wir erfahren jeden Tag viel über die Probleme der Einheimischen auf den karibischen Inseln. Trotz massiven Infrastruktur-Problemen und ständigen Hurrikan-Gefahren sind die Menschen hier übrigens unglaublich gelassen und positiv. The French Butterfly Island is a sailor’s paradise perfect for “la belle la vie”—the beautiful life. Guadeloupe is one of our top picks! Guadeloupe is one of the Eastern Caribbean’s Lesser Antilles islands. It is made up of six inhabited islands. The two main islands of Guadeloupe, Basse-Terre and Grande-Terre, look like the wings of a butterfly from above. While Guadeloupe is popular among French tourists (I mean, it IS a French island), it’s a little less known to North Americans. What makes the island unique is its overwhelming and undisturbed natural beauty. Unlike many Caribbean islands, it is not plastered with huge capacity resorts. It’s tropical, volcanic, French-style, and off the beaten path! Basse-Terre is mountainous, volcanic, and has lots of places to go hiking and waterfall chasing. Where we are now! Thomas and Andreas Ambra Food Blog, Arc Atlantic crossing 2022, from Thomas and Andreas Cooking on board can be quite challenging As we are both passionate hobby cooks we wanted to challenge ourselves and see how good we could cook in the middle of the Atlantic. Preparing the meals We had the luxury to prepare everything in an rb&b apartment in Las Palmas during 7 days prior to our departure on the 20th November 2022. Cooking with a view So we decided to precook and pressure can about half of the hot dinners. We planned for 16 days plus 2 days safety on top. Andreas had brought a pressure canner on his lap as hand luggage in the airplane from Cologne. An unusual carry on item in an airplane seat. Next challenge was to find the properly sized pressure Glas containers in Las Palmas, that would fit our pot. For 8 dishes needed around 24 containers. After several scouting trips in the neighborhood and with the help of scout Melli, we bought about 30 containers plus some smaller sized ones for confined tomatoes and garlic. This allowed us to pressure can our precooked meals at 120 degrees in order to make sure any botulism (although very rare) is wiped out. We decided to precook about half of the dinners and cook the rest ‘live’. We managed to cook about two meals a day in the apartment as the glasses had to be under pressure for an 1,5 hours. We prepared oriental lamb with raisins, figues, pine nuts. Spanish porc with walnuts and apples. Rabbit stew with roasted chestnut sauce, a really good Bolognese with self made veal stock, Italian Salciccia sauce with anis and white wine, chili von carne with chipotle jalapeño and smoked peppers, boeuf [...]

Long distance sailing: Recognize your limits!

What if ???? The problem with sailing is the more you learn about it, the more you realize all the ways the ocean is out to get you. When you are new to sailing and in the middle of the Ocean on a 48ft boat, there is a lot to be worried about. What if the weather changes or what if there is a storm? What if something goes wrong, what if we fall in, what if we hit a container or whale? I’m a fearful adventurer ! In everyday life, I tend to apply the rule that I can only worry about things that are in my control, the rest you sort of have to let go of. However, if I’m on a boat with my husband, we are 100% in control of how we react to any life or death situation. It’s called seamanship. I think the most important thing to remember is to recognize your limits and don’t do sailing routes that are beyond your comfort or experience. I knew I wanted to travel and grow as a person in ways I couldn’t do in the comfort of my home. Let’s start to worry less and let’s begin to appreciate more. The beauty of the sea, the energy of the waves, the miracle of seeing dolphins swim next to the boat and much more. Don’t let fear or my own self-limiting beliefs stop me from doing the things I want to do! Hallo September….. Unser Abenteuer beginnt!

Hey, captain….you’re doing great, facing all those hard days as bravely as you can, so fierce, so intense… so beautifully human. Ein Segler oder Skipper muss verdammt viele Rollen an Bord besetzen und eine Menge Fähigkeiten besitzen. Unbedingt gefragt sind Wissen und handwerkliches Geschick ebenso wie körperliche und mentale Fitness. 15 Tonnen Ambra und ganz viele To Do’s Torsten muss als Captain der Ambra an so viele Dinge denken, auch die wichtigsten Ersatzteile müssen unbedingt noch alle an Bord und die Bord-Apotheke entwickelt sich momentan zu einem Mini-Krankenhaus. Sicher ist sicher. Ein Captain ist Navigator, Hausmeister, Handwerker, Techniker, Elektroniker, Mechatroniker, Maschinenbauer, Meteorologe, Informatiker, Sanitäter, Werkstoffexperte, Bootsbauer und Segelmacher aber auch Schwimmer, Taucher, Astronom und Ozeanograf. Bis Ende September müssen wir raus aus dem Mittelmeer! Jetzt geht es erstmal auf die Balearen. Gerade vor unserer Reise in die Karibik wird uns das bei unseren Vorbereitungen täglich bewusst. 100% perfekt fühlt man sich nie bei einem 15 Tonnen Schiff mit so viel Technik an Bord wie Generator, Water Maker, Waschmaschine, Trockner, Lithium Ionen Batterien, Kühlschränke etc…. es ist komplex. Wir haben Ersatzteile geordert, machen Updates und Seminare, viele Pakete sind für uns auf dem Weg nach Mallorca und nach Gran Canaria. Wir haben auch jetzt erst realisiert wieviel eine 5-köpfige Crew trinkt und isst. Wir haben zwar einen Water Maker, aber falls der ausfällt, brauchen wir zur Sicherheit pro Person 2-3 l Trinkwasser am Tag. Seufz… 100 Liter Wasser unter dem Boden?😂 Wir alle müssen auf See viele Rollen erfüllen. Umfassend kompetent fühlt sich folglich kaum jemand. Selbstzweifel helfen aber auch nicht weiter. Was tun? Letzter Tag in Cagliari! Vor allem aber: Lasst Euch beim Segeln nicht von den Erwartungen vermeintlicher Könner überfrachten. Denn das kann unsicher machen, lässt Leidenschaften vergessen, steigert den Druck, Fehler vermeiden zu müssen, und führt zu Versagensängsten. [...]

Castellammare del Golfo Review : Aktuelle Tipps für Segler und Charter-Interessierte

Früher wichtiger Handelsplatz des antiken Segesta, hat sich Castellammare del Golfo zu einem wirklich zauberhaften Hafenstädtchen entwickelt, mit einer einzigartigen Marina, die ich Euch unbedingt empfehlen möchte. Toller Empfang in der Marina Club Nautico Castellammare Der Service der Marina Club Nautico Castellammare ist unglaublich gut und man liegt hier traumhaft geschützt! Marina Club Nautico Castellammare: Meine Einkäufe werden zum Schiff gebracht! Wir sind von 5 flinken Jungs und dem Chef der Marina empfangen worden und wie von Zauberhand wurden unsere Mooring-Leinen angelegt und niemand bewegte sich von unserem Boot weg, bis der Strom, die Klimaanlage und das Wasser angeschlossen war. Es wurde gleich ein Mietwagen organisiert und tolle Restaurant-Empfehlungen gegeben. Unglaublich….. Toller Blick von oben auf die Marina Hier in der Marina wird englisch gesprochen und man kann über sich Navily informieren oder direkt über WhatsApp (+39 392 690 3898) reservieren. Erste Klasse!!! (Tipp: Auch Mega-Yachten können bald hier anlegen, alles ist schon fertig, nur die behördliche Freigabe fehlt noch! Taxi-Shuttle zum Flughafen Palermo organisiert die Marina auch für 70 Euro) Tolle Farben, Castellammare von oben Von hier aus starteten wir in den Nationalpark Lo Zingaro, nach Segesta (Tempel) und haben eine Weinprobe in Scopello gemacht sowie 2 Agriturismi besucht. Die Altstadt von Palermo kann man von hier auch gut als Tagesausflug erreichen! Winter-Liegeplätze für Segelyachten sind momentan noch zu haben…. Scopello Sunset Wer mehr über unseren Ausflug nach Segesta zum Tempel wissen möchte….. hier entlang! Traumhafte Tage rund um die Marina von Cala Galera.

Ambra im Hafen von Cala Galera Ein Cinquecento parkt bei uns am Steg ! Es ist Genuss pur hier im Hafen von Cala Galera. Für mich ein Stück „casa mia“, da ich hier viele Jahre meine Urlaube verbracht habe, allerdings mehr faul am Strand als auf dem offen Meer. Die Marina liegt traumhaft in der Ostbucht der Halbinsel Monte Argentario am Südrand der Toskana am Tyrrhenischen Meer, etwa eine halbe Seemeile (Luftlinie) nordöstlich von Porto Ercole. Porto Ercole im Hintergrund Wir sind die einzigen „Ausländer“ weit und breit, es ist so ruhig und beschaulich hier bei warmen Temperaturen. Wir essen das erste Bio-Eis und bewundern unsere tollen Nachbar-Schiffe und die blühende Natur. Wir sind in diesen Zeiten so unglaublich dankbar hier sein zu dürfen. Ferienhaus oberhalb vom Hafen Der Hafen von Cala Galera genannt 'Marina di Cala Galera' war während siebziger Jahre einer der ersten privaten Häfen in Italien. Die Marina bietet 800 Plätze bis zu 50 Meter LÜA, davon 80 für Gastyachten - auf 3,5 bis 6,5 Meter Wassertiefe. Man wird von einem Marinero mit Motorboot erwartet, der den Platz zuweist und Anlegehilfe leistet. Die Marina ist gut geschützt gegen Schwell, deshalb überwintern hier viele Yachten im Wasser. Mit Bike und Roller nach Orbetello Heute ging es schon vormittags mit Bike und Roller nach Orbetello (20 Minuten). Leinenklamotten und Wohn-Accessoires ergattert zu super Preisen. Die Lagune von Orbetello Entspannte Stimmung in Orbetello Orbetello liegt malerisch auf einer schmalen Landzunge inmitten von zwei Lagunen. Im Norden liegt die Laguna di Ponente mit dem Tombolo della Giannella, und südlich von Orbetello grenzt die Laguna di Levante an, mit der traumhaften Sanddüne des Tombolo della Feniglia, eines kilometerlangen geschützten Naturstrandes. Straight into the sun! – Die neue Leichtigkeit

Auf unserer Wanderung zum Leuchtturm am Capo di Poro auf Elba sind uns gestern Morgen mehrere italienische Pärchen begegnet. Jeder quatscht jeden an und alle freuen sich. Eine Ärztin aus Milano erzählt mir, dass sie seit Oktober nur mit Maske rumgelaufen sei und sie sich jetzt wie befreit fühlt. Sie fragt mich, ob ich das Sprichwort kenne: „O BENEDETTE SPIAGGE OVE L'AMORE LA LIBERTÁ I SOGNI NON HANNO CATENE ! „. (O gesegnete Strände, wo Liebesfreiheitsträume keine Ketten haben !) Toller, freier Blick am Leuchtturm Es scheint, die Italiener haben sie schon: Die neue Leichtigkeit! Inzwischen sind wir 35 Seemeilen weiter südlich und es wird einem immer wärmer ums Herz. Wir fliegen…. Italienische Inseln habe ich schick wie Capri erlebt, wild wie Sardinien oder exotisch-afrikanisch wie Sizilien und mondän wie Panarea. Elba ist nichts von alledem, sondern einfach nur lässig. So entspannt, dass es mich komplett entschleunigt. In den letzten Tagen sind wir mit unseren Klapp-Bikes ? kreuz und quer zu den Bergdörfern Poggio und Marciana Alta gefahren, stets unter dem heiter flirrenden Grün der Pinien und das blaue Wunder des Mittelmeers vor Augen. Portoferraio: Unser Liegeplatz im Hafen Insta360, mein neues Spielzeug! Wir alle brauchen jetzt tief empfundene Lebensfreude. Wenn wir jetzt in die Natur schauen und sehen wie alles massiv aufblüht, dann erblüht auch unsere Aufbruchsstimmung, unsere Kraft und eine neue Leichtigkeit. Hier auf Elba bemerke ich dies besonders bei den jungen Erwachsenen. Sie wollen die Rückkehr zu wahrer Freude und einfach nur weg von den schlechten Nachrichten. Die neue Leichtigkeit! Bar in Portoferraio “Mordisco” Freude scheint sowieso neben der Liebe das Grundlebenselixier des Menschen zu sein. Um mit Mitgefühl anderen zur Seite zu stehen, denen es momentan so schlecht geht, brauchen wir jetzt ein freudiges „Ja•Yes•Si “ zum eigenen Leben und Vertrauen in die Kraft der Liebe, die jedem von uns innewohnt. Entscheiden wir uns doch jetzt bewusst für die Liebe an unserem Leben, besonders gut geht das hier in der Toskana. Mehr über diese Aufnahmen auf Instagram! Mercato Follonica Update für alle Segler: Die Einreise nach Italien von München aus ist absolut problemlos verlaufen. Wir hatten einen aktuellen Corona-Test dabei, den aber nur die Österreicher sehen wollten. In Italien hab es keine Grenzkontrollen und wir haben zur Sicherheit in der Toskana noch einen Test gemacht, die Bestätigung haben wir immer dabei. Wir sind bis jetzt noch nicht kontrolliert worden. Endlich wieder unterwegs.... Ambra Segeln ist erlaubt. Die Hygiene-Regeln werden hier überall eingehalten, Märkte, Läden, Restaurants und Bars sind alle mittags und abends geöffnet, aber nur im Außenbereich. Es ist herrlich. What these men can't afford is not to go. They are enmeshed in the cancerous discipline of "security." And in the worship of security we fling our lives beneath the wheels of routine - and before we know it our lives are gone. My favourite beach , La Maddalena What does a man need - really need? A few pounds of food each day, heat and shelter, six feet to lie down in - and some form of working activity that will yield a sense of accomplishment. That's all - in the material sense, and we know it. But we are brainwashed by our economic system until we end up in a tomb beneath a pyramid of time payments, mortgages, preposterous gadgetry, playthings that divert our attention for the sheer idiocy of the charade. The years thunder by, The dreams of youth grow dim where they lie caked in dust on the shelves of patience. Before we know it, the tomb is sealed. Sardegna Where, then, lies the answer?
